“The best among mankind is the one who benefits mankind.”
Saying of the Noble Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.
Ulfa Aid was set up in 2004 by Sheikh Babikir Ahmed Babikir in London primarily to assist the homeless across the globe of which there are approximately 1 billion. We continue to undertake this work and have expanded our programmes to address a range of social and community needs.
At Ulfa Aid, we believe in sustainability and leading by example. Natural disasters occur around the globe; local problems and discord amongst some communities are evident. We believe in bringing hearts, minds and communities together to unite, but not just for one day or event, we at Ulfa Aid wish to sustain and expand these networks and links over time.
The Noble Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said:
“The believer is friendly and easy to befriend. And there is no good in the person who does not befriend and does not get befriended.”
To endeavour to bring good hearted people together, in order that they strive together to bring relief to the poor, the needy, the homeless, the sick and the people unable to help themselves, locally and internationally.
We wish to engage with the wider community through workshops, peer on peer learning, seminars and social programmes. After natural disasters occur, Ulfa Aid aim to build homes in the region to create sustainable living conditions.
Ulfa Aid is based around the basic human foundation of love and mercy. It hopes to benefit the community, by working with them and FOR them. We wish to open up Ulfa Aid to the wider community, our family and welcome them to work together to curtail homelessness, social injustices and for providing relief and education to the needy.
